APA Fellowship, Leadership, Education, Accreditation and Training (FLEAT) Academy Trainee Engagement Subcommittee Member Application

Joining the APA FLEAT Academy is an excellent way to work with a group of passionate medical educators at a national level. The group is primarily responsible for providing accreditation for general pediatrics fellowships and organizing an annual Fellows and Trainees Conference. The Trainee Engagement subcommittee is an opportunity to bring the trainee perspective to the FLEAT Academy and help advance the initiatives of the organization while maintaining a manageable time commitment. The Trainee Engagement subcommittee will meet on a monthly or bimonthly basis.

All pediatric residents or fellows are eligible to apply. Medical students with an interest in pediatric medical education are also invited to apply. If you are not already a member of the Academic Pediatric Association, you will need to become a member in order to be considered for the position. If the membership fees will pose any significant financial hardship for you, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.
