Our SIG had a terrific meeting on Saturday of PAS in Washington.
We first focused on the Milestone Project
(https://www.abp.org/abpwebsite/publicat/milestones.pdf) and how it might relate to continuity clinic. The Milestone Project will be at the heart of the RRC's New Accreditation System. Groups at each table analyzed how their assigned 3 milestones might apply to continuity clinic, and we had a verbal report-out. Additionally, each table took notes and we will be compiling them to post on our WIKI site (information and access coming soon). However, we are still missing a few tables worth of information - if you are holding on to some notes please send them to Sue Feigelman at sfeigelm@umaryland.edu.
Our second annual Quick Conti Consult session was focused on EMRs in continuity settings. While most of us are using Epic, there was a smattering of other EMRs used. Notes were taken by some intrepid folks, and those should be emailed to Ada Fenick at ada.fenick@yale.edu so that we can compile them.
At the meeting, we also had a few updates from our board and from our research network, and heard about the aforementioned wiki where we will be able to host some of our documents and also have the ability to store some of those questions/answers that we've all seen flying through the list-serve over the years.
Have a terrific summer!
