April 2013 Newsletter Article

The Qualitative Research SIG has been active and gearing up for PAS 2013 - hope to see you on Monday May 6 from 8:30-11:30.

Over the past year, we have developed a WIKI (and thank Teri Kind for her technical tips). Please visit the WIKI at:
http://apaqualitativeresearchsig.pbworks.com/w/request-access

You will need to "Request Access", which Jan Hanson (SIG co-chair) will gladly provide. Several people have started to use the WIKI but we would welcome more chatter. If you come across a helpful resource or run up against a methodological problem, please feel free to share.

Our goals for this year's SIG meeting are (a) to continue to build our qualitative research community and (b) provide some more advanced level training in qualitative analysis. We think this advanced training will complement the qualitative workshop we'll be facilitating on Saturday afternoon.
